If our administration won’t fund the national parks, then we will. Rivian’s electric vehicle tech was designed for the great outdoors, so the government’s threat to neglect and sell our public land is personal.
The mass-defund is already starting to affect equipment safety, so Rivian is donating repurposed fleets of R1T trucks throughout the National Parks system for trail maintenance teams, search and rescue teams, and park rangers to use as service vehicles.
